volunteer with wolf pack
Be part of the pack without racing.
Help run one of the UK’s most unusual survival events, meet brilliant people, and spend a weekend outdoors with purpose.
Why Volunteer?
Wolf Pack volunteers aren’t background crew — they are the heart of the weekend.
You’ll get to:
meet racers at their highest and lowest moments
support people doing something genuinely difficult
be part of the story, the atmosphere and the weird rituals
spend a weekend in nature with a brilliant group of humans
see the event from behind the scenes before ever choosing to race it
Everyone who has volunteered so far has said it was one of the highlights of their year.
Roles You Can Do
Volunteers often rotate roles depending on where support is needed. You don’t need prior experience — we brief and support you in advance.
Checkpoint Marshal
Record timings, guide teams, encourage people, and make sure everyone is accounted for.
Route Support / Rover
Move between key points, check on teams, communicate with HQ, and assist anyone who needs help.
Camp Crew
Help set up the campsite, maintain the fire, serve tea/food, organise kit, and create a calm dependable atmosphere.
Campfire Host
Run the campfire vibe: keep the fire going, help with the music setup, welcome racers into camp, create warmth (literal and social).
Challenge Host
Run one of the Wolf Pack challenges — from Welly Wang to Fire Lighting to The Sacred Aubergine series. Training provided. Absurdity guaranteed.
First Aider
Support minor injuries, blisters, knocks and check-ins.
(You’ll need a valid first-aid certification.)
Logistics Support
Help with moving kit, organising transport points, directing arrivals and assisting with start/finish tasks.
Not everyone does everything. You’ll be placed where your strengths fit best.
What You Get
For the 2026 season, all volunteers receive:
25% off a future Wolf Pack event

Transport covered for essential crew movements during the event
The full volunteer experience: campfire, camaraderie, inside jokes, and a weekend outdoors meeting determined, funny, brilliant people
Volunteering feels meaningful, energising, and surprisingly fun.

To volunteer, you need to:
be 18+
be available for the full weekend (Saturday–Sunday)
ideally have your own car (or share one if volunteering as a couple/pair)
join two pre-event planning calls
learn the challenges, ethos and flow of the event in advance
be reliable, calm under pressure and comfortable outdoors
enjoy helping people through tough moments
bring a friendly, encouraging presence to the pack
We don’t expect heroics — just humanity.
