Wolf Pack League — Operations & Community Assistant (Part-Time, Bristol)

Wolf Pack is a Bristol-based adventure events brand. We design and run curated, phone-free “survival race” weekends across the UK — focused on challenge, community, and meaning in modern life.

We’re now looking for one person to join us part-time to help co-build the next chapter of Wolf Pack.

This is a paid freelance role, not a volunteer position.

The role

You’ll work closely with the founder to help run and grow Wolf Pack, especially on the operational and community side of the business.

The work will be varied and practical, and may include:

  • replying to participant and race emails

  • coordinating volunteers

  • booking campsites, coaches, and event logistics

  • helping draft risk assessments and event documents

  • getting insurance quotes and doing supplier research

  • light social media posting and replying to comments

  • route and location research (maps, distances, campsites)

  • occasional ad-hoc tasks around Bristol (having a car is a bonus)

Hours & pay

  • £15 per hour

  • 10 hours per week

  • Two separate days per week, approx 5 hours per day

  • Days available: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (choose two)

  • Freelance / contractor basis

Looking ahead, there is real potential for this role to grow to 2–3 days per week next year as Wolf Pack expands — but it’s also completely fine if you’re happy to keep it at this level.

Who this is for

You might be a good fit if you:

  • are Bristol-based

  • enjoy organising things and making events run smoothly

  • have experience (formal or informal) with events, outdoor projects, camps, or community initiatives

  • are comfortable using email, Google Docs, spreadsheets, and basic mapping tools

  • care about people, tone, and doing things properly

  • like the idea of helping build something, not just ticking tasks

Council members and existing Wolf Pack volunteers are very welcome to apply.

How to apply

Send a short email to hello@wolfpackleague.co.uk telling us:

  • a bit about you

  • why Wolf Pack appeals to you

  • any relevant experience (events, outdoors, ops, community, etc.)

We’ll review applications as they come in and hire when we find the right person.
